Our school offers personalised programs for students aged 6 to 18, covering STEAM, science, UK and US curricula, and IOWA test preparation. We nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and academic strength—empowering students to face global learning challenges with confidence.
Our U.S. elementary school immersion program offers children an environment and curriculum that mirrors studying abroad. Miles Academy follows the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), fully adopting and synchronizing with U.S. elementary school curricula using materials from McGraw-Hill, Savvas, HmH, and Miles Academy for English and Math.
We provide a carefully structured English learning program tailored for students from G1-G6 ensuring a seamless transition into North American school systems while nurturing creativity, independent thinking, and logical reasoning skills.
Beyond the core English curriculum, our program integrates diverse subjects such as Geography, History, Financial Literacy, and Public Health into the English learning context.
Uniquely, we offer a fully immersive English science lab course as part of our official curriculum. This course effectively incorporates STEAM elements into language learning. With a professionally equipped science lab, students are given abundant hands-on opportunities. At the end of each unit, students present their experiments and outcomes in English, helping them develop confident public speaking skills and leadership qualities.

Our English program is specifically designed for ESL (English as a Second Language) learners, offering a comprehensive learning pathway from foundational to advanced levels based on students’ age and proficiency.
The curriculum covers all four key language skills — reading, writing, listening, and speaking — using internationally recognized materials. Through theme-based and cross-curricular learning, students develop not only fluency but also critical thinking and expressive skills in English.
To ensure students meet global benchmarks, they also take the Cambridge English Assessment annually as part of our program.
Our writing program includes creative expression , persuasive essays, and research writing. Each month, students work on a different theme, learning to analyze structure, develop arguments, and improve clarity in writing.
Every semester, students read and analyze a selected English literary work, focusing on character development, narrative structure, themes, and style. They also complete reading reports and literary critiques, enhancing both comprehension and expression.
All classes are taught in English by native-speaking teachers. We incorporate authentic materials such as international news, media clips, and podcasts to engage students in global discussions and strengthen listening comprehension. Students are taught comparative analysis techniques which fosters deeper understanding of topics.
Beyond class discussions on literature, Miles Academy organizes debate sessions, giving students the opportunity to practice spontaneous speaking, build logical arguments, and develop confidence in English oral communication.
The Miles Academy Math Program is delivered entirely in English and is designed to develop both comprehensive math skills and English-language mathematical understanding.
The program starts with computation skills and incorporates reasoning and applications.
Through this structured approach, students build a strong foundation in math concepts, enhance their focus and logical thinking, and gain the confidence needed to succeed in future academic challenges.

The IOWA test results provide valuable insights for teachers and parents, highlighting each student’s strengths and areas for improvement. For subjects where performance is weaker, targeted support can be offered—such as enhancing reading comprehension, grammar, and writing skills, or engaging in more hands-on practice in maths and science—to help students make steady academic progress.
A strong foundation in English is essential for tackling greater challenges. In upper primary and secondary levels, the focus shifts toward developing independent thinking and critical judgment. Students are encouraged to deepen their English application and research skills, refine discussion depth, and strengthen debate techniques—ultimately expanding their communication abilities.
The IOWA test is an important indicator of academic development. It not only assesses subject knowledge but also helps educators and parents better understand a student’s specific strengths and weaknesses. For students in private schools, the test provides a clear reflection of how well classroom learning translates into real academic performance.
